The qualified candidate will join the APS program which is a full
fidelity force-level mission planning system. Responsibilities include
software design and coding, unit and integration testing, systems
integration, and configuration management. Investigation and resolution
of Change Requests (CRs) against APS software baseline is required as
well. A major portion of workload involves support of operational
software, troubleshooting CR's written at factory/fielded customer site,
and interfacing with site operation and maintenance personnel.
Required Education:
Bachelors and 0+ year(s) related experienceRequired Experience:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Scientific field or equivalent
experience. Employees in California must have a Bachelor's degree
in the applicable field, or an applicable certification, equivalent
certificate or any required license. Equivalent experience will not be
considered.
Required Skills:
Good standard software skills in requirements analysis, design and code;
a broad knowledge of C++ including an understanding of memory management
and pointers; BS in Computer Science or related degree; U.S.
citizenship; eligible for a secret/top secret security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
Software development in an OO, framework/component or PC environment. X
Windows/Motif, HTML, XML, Java, StP, OOA&D, relational database,
client server architecture, ClearCase, UNIX, NT platform, systems
design, component-based development, Purify, Load Sharing Facility
(LSF), cloud computing, mission planning background. Self-starter,
capable of multi-tasking; effective communication skills and works well
in a team environment
